	*TAG (Technical Advisory Group)* Background In 2005, the NACA Board of Directors commissioned the formation of a Technical Advisory Group to make recommendations on stream and lake water quality monitoring for the White, Illinois, and Spavinaw Watersheds. Group Composition Dr. Marc Nelson, Director, Arkansas Water Resource Center (AWRC), U of A. Dr. Marty Matlock, U of A Department of Biological & Agricultural Engineering (BAE). Dr. Indrajeet Chaubey, same department as Dr. Matlock. Dr. Reed Green, Assistant Director, USGS Arkansas Water Science Center (USGS). Mike Lawrence, Manager, Rogers Pollution Control Facility (RWU). Lu Ann Diffin, Water Quality Manager, Rogers Pollution Control Facility.

The mission of the TAG is to develop the first comprehensive water monitoring program for the area watersheds. Specifically, the program is anticipated to include the following components: Component Administered by Project Coordination NACA Stream Monitoring AWRC/USGS Lake Monitoring USGS/BWD Point Source Monitoring RWU Multi-parameter Monitoring USGS/RWU Small Watershed Monitoring BAE/AWRC Groundwater Monitoring USGS Biological Monitoring BAE/USGS Model Development USGS/BAE Decision Support System TAG Approval, support and funding will be requested by the ADEQ, the Arkansas Department of Natural Resources, and the EPA.
